Configuring Security Settings

Configure security settings for Auto Inspection Unit UK-301. Implement any required measures for your environment.

Configure the settings by going to Control panel - Utility/Counter - [Administrator Setting] - [Security Setting (UK-301)].

Overview

[Web Access Password Setting]

Set the Web Utilities password for Auto Inspection Unit UK-301.

[Web Access IP Filtering]

Configure the Web Utilities IP filtering settings for Auto Inspection Unit UK-301.

Set the valid range of IP addresses to restrict access by unauthorized IP addresses. It is also possible to link subnet masks.

[TLS Setting]

Configure encryption settings for network communications on Auto Inspection Unit UK-301.

[HDD Encryption Set.(UK-301)]

Configure the HDD encryption function settings for Auto Inspection Unit UK-301. Set the encryption password to use.

[Delete All Data Setting]

Configure the [Erase Mode] settings for when deleting the data from Auto Inspection Unit UK-301 HDD or from non-volatile memory by overwriting it with specific data.

[U-ROM Digital Signature Set.]

Set the digital signatures for Auto Inspection Unit UK-301.

[HDD ALL Backup]

Back up the data (reference images/automatic inspection reports) on the Auto Inspection Unit UK-301 HDD to an external USB type storage medium.

[HDD ALL Restore]

Restore the HDD data from Auto Inspection Unit UK-301 that has been backed up to an external storage device using [HDD ALL Backup] back to the Auto Inspection Unit UK-301 HDD.

NOTICE
  • If [HDD Encryption Set.(UK-301)] is enabled when a reference image or non-created automatic inspection reports already exists, the system may not function correctly, including the system freezing when the reference image is displayed.
  • Delete any reference images or non-created automatic inspection reports when [HDD Encryption Set.(UK-301)] is enabled.
