Overview

Adjustment that should be performed by all end users during day to day use.

Perform adjustment at the following timings.
  • Just before outputting jobs for which color is important
  • Elsewhere, if you feel the color seems strange

Using RU Option (Relay Unit RU-518m), but No Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501 Mounted

Follow the steps below.

Step 1
[Periodical Adj. Execution]
Set [Periodical Adj. Execution] in [Basic Setting] to [ON]. The adjustments are performed automatically at the appropriate timing.
Step 2
[Registered Color Density Manual Control]
Perform the adjustments at the necessary timing before outputting.

When Mounted With Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501

Follow the steps below.

Step 1
[Package Color Auto Adj.]
Perform by selecting [Auto Selection] for [Initial Set.]. Perform while the system is powered on.
Tips

When [Auto Selection] cannot be selected for [Initial Set.] in [Package Color Auto Adj.], follow the steps detailed on Using RU Option (Relay Unit RU-518m), but No Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501 Mounted of Daily Adjustment Flow (Standard).
