[Custom Screen]
Overview
Set the dot shape, screen frequency, and screen angle.
Adjusting the screen angle prevents moire when printing.
To set the contents, select [Custom Screen].
Tips
- Image Controller is required to use this function. For details, refer to What Is the PS Plug-in Driver?.
Tips
- This option can be set individually for [Cyan], [Magenta], [Yellow], and [Black].

Setting items | [Dot Shape] | Select the dot shape from the menu list. Selecting the appropriate dot shape produces a more even gradation. | |
[Screen Frequency] | Select the number of halftone dots arrayed in 1 inch from the menu list. The larger the number, the greater the resolution. Increasing the resolution may destroy an image printed on paper that easily absorbs ink. | ||
[Screen Angle] | Select the angle with the vertical axis for each color from the menu list. If the same screen angle is set to each color, moire may occur. Default: Cyan: 15.0° Magenta: 75.0° Yellow: 0.0° Black: 45.0° | ||
