Adjust any misalignment of printing positions on the front and back sides that occurs during 2-sided printing.

When you change the paper to load into a paper tray, always perform [Both Sides Adjust].

The rightmost tab on the Both Sides Adjust screen varies depending on the optional devices mounted on this system.

Setting item	Description
[Tray Setting]	Select the desired Paper tray from the list.
[Front]	Adjust the magnification and position of the image to print on the front side.
[Back]	Adjust the magnification and position of the image to print on the back side.
[Chart Adjustment] ([Front]/[Back])	Separate charts are prepared to adjust the front side and the back side. Measure the measurement points of the output chart by, for example, using a scale, and then enter the measurement value and perform the adjustment.
[Rotate/Skew]	Perform adjustments when the entire image is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise or a diagonal skew is detected.
[Chart Adjustment] ([Rotate/Skew])	This system provides the chart used to adjust [Rotate/Skew]. To make adjustments, measure the measurement points of the output chart using a scale, and then enter the measurement value.
[Gap]	Simply adjust only the zoom ratio and the image position of the back side based on the image position on the front side.
[AutoMeasure]	Read the output chart using Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501, and automatically perform Both Sides Adjustment.
[AutoMeasure] - [Periodical Adj.]	Configure settings to perform [Periodical Both Sides Adj.] for each paper tray.
[AutoMeasure] - [Before Job]	Configure settings to perform [Both Sides Adj. Before Job] for each paper tray.
[Scan Meas.]	Read a chart using the scanner of this system, and automatically adjust the magnification and print position of the front and back sides.
