[Bind Direction]
Overview
Set the bind direction to scan a 2-sided original.
When making a 1-sided copy of a 2-sided original, be especially careful about whether the top of the front side is the same as that of the back side.

Tips
[Top] of [Bind Direction] is only available for 2-sided scanning when
- [2-Sided] is selected in [Simplex/Duplex] of the [STORE] screen;
- [2->2] or [2->1] is selected in [Simplex/Duplex] of the [COPY] screen; or
- [2-Sided] is selected in [Simplex/Duplex] of the [SCAN] screen.

Setting item | Description |

[Right&Left] | Selects this item when Right&Left binding (the top and bottom are the same on the front and back sides) is set for the original. |
[Top] | Selects this item when Top binding (the top and bottom are reversed on the front and back sides) is set for the original. |
