Switch No. | Problem/Requirement | Solution reached when turned On |
---|---|---|
| The paper size should be distinguished using the CropBox value (trimming size) in order to direct-print a PDF file. In general use, the MediaBox (media size) value is used as the standard. | The paper size is distinguished using the CropBox value (trimming size) of a PDF file. |
| When multiple print jobs are collected to a single file and printed using the LPR command, an error occurs, causing an output failure. | After receiving all data (file), execute print jobs regardless of the controller's spool setting. In this case, the printing speed may slow down. The maximum file size that can be received for each file is within 2 GB. If the maximum file size exceeds 2 GB, no effect of setting change will be ensured. After the setting is changed, turn Sub power switch off, and on again to confirm the setting. |
| When multiple PostScript data items are collectively output to a single file via the network, multiple data items are collectively output to a single job. | When [Ctrl] + [D] is detected, it is judged to be a job delimiter, enabling you to output them as multiple jobs. |
| When multiple PostScript data items are collectively output to a single file via USB, a single job is divided and output. Also, error pages may be output. | When [Ctrl] + [D] is detected, a single job can be output as a single job without being judged to be a job delimiter. |
| When multiple jobs are collectively output to a single file, whether or not to delimit them should be selectable by judging the range from the PJL JOBNAME command to the PJL EOJ NAME command to be a job delimiter. | Setting value [Off]: Outputs multiple jobs as a single file without delimiting them. [On]: Outputs multiple jobs as they are by delimiting them. |
| The thumbnails displayed with AccurioPro Print Manager have had their image quality enhanced to make them easier to view. However, the file size increases and the amount of available free space on the HDD may decrease, so a setting should be made that does not increase the image quality. | Setting value [Off]: Improves the image quality. [On]: Does not improve the image quality. If [On] is selected, it may be made difficult to view text and lines when a thumbnail is enlarged. |
| The paper tray of this system should always be specified automatically. | The paper tray is always specified automatically regardless of the paper tray specified in the printer driver. |
| The file name specified in the LPR command, not the job name specified in the printer driver, should be displayed as the job name. | The file name specified in the LPR command is displayed as the job name. |
| When an attempt is made to install fonts using Font Management Utility, a timeout error occurs. | A timeout error is avoided. However, the RAM font type is displayed as [HDD] in the font list of Font Management Utility. |
| In Mac OS X or later, when multiple body copies are specified with cover insertion, only 1 copy of the body is output. | The specified number of copies of the body are output. However, if a job including font data or EPS data is output, error pages may be output. |
