Noise in the shape of white spots or black spots may occur during printing.

Solution

First, check the following items.

The system features functions for helping control the occurrence of spots (black and white spots) if they do appear. Use the following functions if the above suggestions do not resolve the situation. For details about the various adjustment items, refer to the reference page.

[Simple Setting] allows you to easily make the required adjustments, even if you do not have the specialist knowledge, by specifying [Expert Adj.] items.

Spots (either black or white) occur

Perform the adjustment at the following the steps.

1. [Density Balance Auto. Adjustment] (With Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501)

2. [Maximum Density Adjustment] (With MYIRO-1)

3. [Color Density Control]

Multiple white spots (1 mm or less) occur, regardless of color

[Simple Setting]: [Cloudy Image(1st)]

[Simple Setting]: [Cloudy Image(2nd)]

If the above measures do not improve the situation, the system's internal transfer roller or fusing unit may be dirty. Contact your service representative.
